This place is always a joy to dance in. I’ve met so many beautiful people here and the classes are just as amazing! Definitely recommend trying it out.

Signing up for a Queerchata class is probably one of the best things I've ever done for myself! Really appreciate all the thought & effort the QC team puts into creating safe & fun spaces for us. It's so true, healing happens in community :]

I love Queerchata, learning to dance in such a inclusive, fun, and supportive space has been amazing! I have always loved dancing but disliked how heteronormative and patriarchal it can feel. I immediately signed up for the next class when I finished the first one.

Lindsey

Queerchata has been life-changing for me. The feeling of camaraderie, safety, and joy I feel when I participate in a class is unparalleled.

Mel

Thank you for all the work you’re doing to create such a joyful space for me and my friends! It’s something I really look forward to on my tougher days.

Julia

To elevate your dance in a safe queer space, what more can someone ask for. I love it here ❤️.

Michael

Queerchata is such a fun experience! If you’re queer and looking for a safe fun place to dance and mingle, I highly recommend going to a Queerchata social. ✨ Best of all, Queerchata makes their events super beginner friendly so that everyone can be a part.

Adrian's intentionality in creating uniquely inclusive spaces is remarkable. Whenever I attend a QC event I know I'm going to feel like I'm part of something special and I know I'm going to have an awesome time to go with it!

Chris

We loved seeing our guests participating in the dance lesson. A true celebration of community and movement that brought a lot of joy to participants and observers. It was a perfect way to end our NHM Commons Opening Celebration! Can't wait to think of other opportunities to bring Queerchata back to NHM!

Queerchata is incredible. It's been so healing to dance in an inclusive environment free of gendered expectations and full of acceptance.

Nicole

I've had a wonderful time at every queerchata event I've attended and there's been many. Lots of dancing and a beautiful affirming space to exist in!

Thali

The Queerchata team is building a fun, safe space and a welcoming community for queer people in the salsa/bachata dance scene. Everytime they're involved, I know it's going to be great time.

As leaders of the Pride Employee Resource Group at our office, we’re always looking for ways to expand the horizons of our members and allies. The folks at Queerchata led a fun and engaging dance workshop that was work appropriate but also pushed on the idea of traditional gender roles within dancing. They were very considerate of people's comfort level, adjusted the pace when people fell behind, and reviewed steps as much as we needed. They really met everyone where they were at!
